CAMPUS LIFE

Nestled in the limestone bluffs and hardwood forests of southeastern Minnesota, Stringwood at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center sits on 80+ acres of natural woodlands overlooking the scenic Root River.

The modern campus facilities are climate controlled and feature a superb indoor rock wall, an air-conditioned dormitory, 2-bedroom suites with private bath, a spacious dining hall with meals prepared from locally sourced ingredients, and spectacular views.

 
Each chamber ensemble is assigned a personal rehearsal room and participants receive private lessons, solo and chamber music masterclasses and seminars, and outdoor adventures led by skilled naturalists.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Typical days begin with personal practice, chamber music rehearsals and coaching, private lessons and masterclasses. 

Evenings are reserved for group adventures with Eagle Bluff naturalists, midweek Artist Faculty Concerts, and social activities.

Fridays through Sundays are Young Artist Concerts, biking, and socializing.

7:30am - Breakfast
8:30am - Personal Practice, Group Rehearsal & Coaching
12pm - Lunch 
1:00pm - Private Lesson, Seminar, Masterclass
5pm - Dinner 
6:00pm - Adventures with the Naturalists or Faculty Concert and dessert/free time in town.
