Vicki Blazing has served an integral role as official photographer at Stringwood since she arrived on campus with her violist daughter in 2004. Vicki doubles as executive assistant and off-site community relations; and transports students and instruments dailyin her Jeep or gulf cart.

Dylan Woodman is a baritone vocal performance major at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. Recently he was Joe Harland in Later that Same Evening, and the Major General in Viterbo’s production of The Pirates of Penzance. This past summer he participated in The American Spirituals Intensive at the Bayview Music Festival led by Dr. Everett McCorvey. He is also a prize-winner in the 2026 Schubert Club Scholarship Competition.

Ian Snider is a violist from the Twin Cities who has played at Stringwood for two summers and has also played in ACMS. They graduated from St. Olaf College with degrees in Music and Film and Media Studies, where they studied with Ray Shows while performing with the St. Olaf Orchestra as assistant principal violist. Ian currently works in special education for St. Paul Public Schools, as well as in the live event industry as an audio engineer and videographer.

I first attended Stringwood when I was around 12 years old. I had such the best time meeting other musicians, performing, and doing all the endless activities that I went back one of the following years. I am excited to now be part of the team for the next few weeks. This upcoming school year, I will be a senior at the Lamont School of Music at University of Denver. I am studying violin music performance and will hopefully be getting my certificate in Suzuki pedagogy as well. I am currently awai

Tony Thomann has a wealth of experience in leading non-profit organizations. After studying vocal performance and music education at the Eastman School of Music, he spent time as an elementary school music teacher and working as a singer and actor in the Twin Cities before transitioning into non-profit leadership and administration.
