Stringwood is a premier summer music festival that specializes in connecting young musicians to chamber music as an art form, and developing expression through collaborative performances. Stringwood is enhanced by its location at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, home to year round naturalists, organic gardens and eighty acres of pristine woodlands. Young musicians who aspire to making a significant contribution to their art through in-depth study and meaningful performances experience music and nature side by side.
The Stringwood schedule offers ample time and space for personal practice and discovery, extensive daily rehearsals and coachings, private lessons with an inspired faculty, musicianship classes, and generous interaction with world-class guest artist musicians in an energized and collaborative environment.
The Stringwood experience includes canoeing, a high ropes course, rock walls, nature hikes, bike trails, and breathtaking views.
