NEW AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Stringwood Young Artists, ages 12-22, come from dedicated studios all across the country. Students are selected based on the applicant's ability to demonstrate a variety of musical and technical skills and knowledge of style and interpretation. Level of repertoire and previous chamber music experience are taken into consideration when creating groups.

TO APPLY (Ages 12-18)

Apply at the getacceptd.com website. Please note there is a non-refundable $80 application fee.

 
Complete all required application information and include the following items:

1. Introduction video with verbal responses to the following questions: How did you hear about this program? Why do you want to be part of this program? What other interests do you have?

2. Unedited video recording of (1) three-octave scale (quarter note = 50, slur four notes).

3. Unedited video recording of a movement from a standard concerto or show piece.

4. Unedited video recording of unaccompanied Bach 

5. A recommendation letter from your private teacher.

6. Complete your submission by paying the $80.00 application fee

TO APPLY (College)

College level players are admitted by application information and performance videos.

TUITION, ROOM & BOARD

Stringwood's 2-week program is $2000 for tuition, room and board.
Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due.
Final tuition must be paid by August 1, 2020
